Small convenience stores often have a challenge with buddy punching, when employees clock in and out for each other. The issue can cost companies hundreds of thousands of dollars. Riverside County Travel Zone Center in Perris, Calif., turned to Lathem to fix the problem. They use Lathem’s face recognition clock, which enables workers to clock in/out in seconds. Managers can see when employees are on the job and review reports anytime, anywhere.
